Our Story
Causeway is a Canadian social impact platform making charitable giving more transparent, impactful, and community-driven.
We believe grassroots projects deserve big support — even if they don’t have charitable status. By working with verified fiscal sponsors (registered charities), we connect community-led initiatives with values-aligned business donors. Every donation is processed directly by the charity, tax-receipted, transparently tracked.
At our core, we are connectors — bridging the gap between corporate generosity and powerful, underfunded work happening on the ground. From rural transportation programs to arts collectives, cultural events, mental health initiatives, and more - we help make it possible for good ideas to receive the charitable support they need.
Proudly based in Vernon, British Columbia, we’re piloting Causeway with trusted local partners - with plans to grow across Canada, one community at a time.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Bryan, Founder and Project Director of Causeway.
For over a decade, I've worked directly with at-risk youth, vulnerable adults in the community, and seniors navigating complex systems. I've seen firsthand how people fall through the cracks — not because of a lack of will or passion, but because of gaps between services, funding, and access.
Grassroots nonprofits often step up to meet urgent needs, but many lack charitable status or administrative capacity. At the same time, local businesses want to give back — but don't know how or where to direct their support.
I created Causeway to bridge these gaps — to connect people, projects, and purpose in a way that's clear, accountable and rooted in community. I also hope that the simplicity of Causeway's process inspires and empowers others to start new programs or launch the kinds of community projects that fill these real-world needs.
